Integrations

Connect your subscription tools so every profile shows the user's plan and subscription history, and so automations can react to trials, renewals and cancellations. This page covers what each integration does and what to prepare now.

Subscriptions

Each integration works the same way: you paste a webhook URL from the Hollo dashboard into your subscription tool, and it tells Hollo about every subscription event.

ToolHow it will connect
RevenueCatAdd Hollo's webhook URL in RevenueCat, with the secret from your dashboard.
SuperwallAdd Hollo's webhook URL and its signing secret in Superwall.
AdaptyAdd Hollo's webhook URL in Adapty's integrations.
App Store Server NotificationsSet Hollo's URL as your notification endpoint in App Store Connect.

You usually only need one. If you use RevenueCat, Superwall or Adapty, connecting that is enough, because it already knows which user is which and sees the same App Store events.

Events Hollo records

Hollo shows these on each user's profile, in order, so you can see their subscription story at a glance:

EventExample of when it happens
Trial startedThe user starts a free period in your app.
Trial convertedTheir trial turns into a paid subscription.
Trial cancelledThey turn off renewal during the trial.
Trial expiredThe trial ends without converting.
Subscription startedThey buy a subscription without a trial.
RenewedA paid period renews.
CancelledThey turn off auto-renew. They keep access until the period ends.
ExpiredTheir access ends.
Billing issueA renewal payment fails.
RefundedApple refunds a purchase.

Each of these can also trigger an automation. For example, a Billing issue could send a friendly message explaining how to update their payment method.

To match events to users, Hollo needs the user's ID in that tool. You can set it today with a reserved attribute, and it'll be used as soon as the integration ships.

import RevenueCat

Hollo.identify(id: user.id, name: user.displayName, email: user.email)
Hollo.attributes = [
    "plan": "Pro",
    "revenuecat_id": Purchases.shared.appUserID,
]
ToolAttribute key
RevenueCatrevenuecat_id
Superwallsuperwall_id
Adaptyadapty_id

If you use the same ID in your subscription tool as in your app (for example, you log in to RevenueCat with your own user ID), set it anyway. It makes the link explicit.

How Hollo will match App Store Server Notifications to users will be explained here when that integration ships.
