Early access
We're letting iOS apps in a few at a time, so every team gets a smooth start and a direct line to us. This page covers how to get in, what to do in your first hour, and what it costs.
Join the waitlist
Add your email on the homepage and tell us which platform your app is on. iOS apps are invited first. Android and web follow later.
Get your invite
When your spot opens, we email you a link to create your workspace. You can sign in with Google or with a one-time link sent to your email. There's no password to remember.
Add your app
In the dashboard, add your app by name. Hollo gives it an app key straight away. It starts with app_ and looks like app_XXXX.
The key is public, so it's safe to put in your app's code and commit to your repo. It only says which app a message belongs to. It can't read your inbox or change settings.
Install the SDK
Follow the iOS quickstart, or paste the setup prompt into your coding agent and let it do the work. Either way, finish by sending a test message from your device and checking it arrives in the inbox.
Teach the AI
Add your docs, help pages and FAQ in Hollo AI, and write a few lines of instructions. Then ask the chat the five questions you get most often and check the answers.
Turn on push and ship
Upload your APNs key and wire up push notifications, so users hear your replies. Then identify signed-in users and ship the update.
Before you go live
A short checklist for the release that adds Hollo:
- A test message from a real device reached your inbox.
- You replied from the inbox and got the push on the device.
- Tapping the push opened the chat.
- Signing in calls
Hollo.identify(id:name:email:), and signing out callsHollo.signOut(). - Your account deletion flow calls
Hollo.eraseUserData(). See Privacy and data. - Your App Store privacy labels include what Hollo collects.
- The AI answers your common questions well, and hands off the ones it shouldn't touch.
Testing before you subscribe
Until your workspace has a subscription, Hollo only lets you chat with your own test device. You can try the whole flow (the chat, the AI, replies and push) without real users ever seeing it.
Once you subscribe, the chat opens to everyone using your app.

What you get during early access
- Help setting up from the people building Hollo. Reply to any of our emails and a person answers.
- Every feature as it ships, starting with the chat, the AI and the inbox.
- A say in what we build next. Tell us which integration or feature you need first.
Good to know
- The SDK API may change. The Swift names in these docs are a preview. If one changes before release, we'll update these docs.
- iOS only, for now. React Native, Expo, Flutter, Android and web SDKs come after iOS. Join the waitlist with your platform, so we know who to invite.
- One app key per app. If you have a free and a paid version as separate App Store apps, add each one. On Starter that means one app; on Growth, up to five.
